Democrats have once again intensified their efforts to curb freedom of speech with force.
This time, Vice President Kamala Harris announced creating internet police, which are supposed to stop “disinformation” regarding “political figures” online.
Kamala Harris: The New Internet Police Chief
On Thursday, Biden signed a presidential memorandum aiming to silence online critics of the government, who play a critical role in keeping the government accountable.
The memo stated political figures, journalists, and activists face continued online harassment, which undermines their human rights and stops them from playing a role in strengthening democracy.
According to the memo, online bullying is specifically directed toward political women, which acts as a repellent for most of the women aiming to come into politics.
The new disinformation police consist of Democratic heavyweights, including Attorney General Merrick Garland, DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Wait, so after the colossal fail of the first Ministry of Truth (aka Disinformation Governance Board), they're now settling up ANOTHER Ministry of Truth (aka internet policy task force) this time led by Kamala Harris???https://t.co/5yKgk1imJr

As the panel already held its first meeting on its inauguration day, it is likely to curb free speech significantly in times to come.
While explaining the “context” of making the task force, Harris stated the internet is a crucial part of today’s world; everyone has a fair right to use technology without any “fear.”
She indicated a large number of LGBQT+ women feel discrimination on the internet. The same is the case with Asian Americans, who need to be protected by regulating the internet further.
Harris continued, saying no one should “endure abuse” just for participating in society.
Democrats Go to Great Lengths in Curbing Free Speech
As the panel already started to work, it is directed to submit a “blueprint” to the president within 180 days.
The report will outline the efforts of different agencies in implementing the recommendations of the task force in curbing so-called disinformation on the internet.
Not only this, but the panel will present a detailed report after one year to the president, which will explain the implementation of the “additional recommendations” by the agencies.
This attempt of Democrats came just a couple of months after the dismantling of the disinformation governance board, which triggered backlash across the country.
The so-called disinformation board was created along similar lines to silence a specific narrative for political gains.
Kamala is widely regarded as having been, how shall I say? Incompetent. She also has an image problem, in that many people find her annoying.
I'm not sure making her the CEO of internet nagging is the best way to revitalize her tenure.https://t.co/x5AajjMDLg

Back then, conservative leadership slammed the disinformation board and claimed it was announced after Elon Musk’s decision to purchase Twitter. Musk promised to promote free speech on the platform after acquiring it.
However, Democrats are claiming the new task force has nothing to do with the disinformation board. An official of the Biden administration stated this task force is “particularly focused” on overseeing online hate-mongering activities.
Meanwhile, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was unaware of the extent to which the task force is mandated to combat “disinformation.”
As a reporter inquired about the new internet police, Jean-Pierre responded she would need to talk to her team before issuing any statement.
