Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, said he’s unsure about who to endorse in the 2024 presidential race, failing to provide any details on Tuesday.
He is Definitely Republican
“I suppose I’m unsure at this time about that campaign,” Musk said in an interview with Bloomberg News when questioned if he would back former President Trump if he entered the race.
Earlier, the Tesla CEO stated if Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, runs for president, he would lean toward supporting him.
DeSantis hasn’t indicated if he’ll run for the presidency, but it’ll almost certainly depend on whether Trump runs, given the former president endorsed DeSantis’ governor campaign in 2018.
Musk said last month on Twitter that he intends to vote Republican in the 2022 midterm elections.
He “donated money to [as well as] voted for Hillary [and] then voted for Biden,” alluding to former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden.

“Though, given the unwarranted attacks by senior Democrats towards me [as well as] cold treatment given to Tesla [but also] SpaceX,” he said, “I expect to vote conservative in November.”
Last Monday, the world’s wealthiest man predicted a major “red wave” in the 2022 midterm elections. Several pollsters and political pundits anticipated liberals will suffer significant losses in the midterm elections.
He cited worries about the recession and the spread of left-wing beliefs into institutions such as schools. Historically, the prominent party loses seats in the upcoming midterm elections.
Musk said in a Bloomberg interview on Tuesday that a downturn is “unavoidable” and the US is due for a “nasty shock” soon.
Recession is Comming
“A recession is unavoidable at some time in the future.”
“It’s more likely than not that there will be a downturn in the near future,” Musk stated. “It’s not a foregone conclusion,” he said, “but it looks to be more likely than not.”
In the midst of rumors that the economy is deteriorating, the White House has lately reiterated it is “not inevitable.”

When asked if a downturn is more probable than ever, Biden told reporters in Delaware, “No, I don’t believe it is.”
“I was speaking to Larry Summers this morning, but there’s nothing certain about a downturn,” he added, alluding to the former Treasury Secretary for Barack Obama.
It’s unknown what Biden and Summers discussed or why the administration believes there won’t be a crisis. Summers stated in recent media appearances that he feels the economy is headed for a downturn.
Over the weekend, Summers told reporters his “best estimate” is a crisis will occur, adding, “I base it on the reality that we’ve not had a scenario like this with prices above 4% and unemployed above 4% without a downturn following in a year or two.”
