In a recent interview, 54-year-old Joe Rogan, podcast host and former UFC fighter, had a number of opinions to share. While he managed to retain his chipper demeanor, he claimed the one person he would never host is Donald Trump.

Despite the show’s relaxed nature and the fact that a dozen other polarizing figures have appeared on it in the past, Rogan claims he’s had opportunities to host Trump in the past and he’s turned them all down.

A talk show that isn’t scared to speak the truth?

Rogan added that he’s never been a supporter of Trump’s and he will not allow his platform to promote any of Trump’s future political campaigns.

However, despite all the negative comments Rogan had for the former president, none of them were made in bad taste, with the podcast host merely sharing his own views on the Trump administration and their practices.

Rogan, who actually endorsed Bernie in the 2020 presidential race, now believes Trump’s 2024 run could be an easy victory for the former president.

He said Trump would practically be racing against a “dead man,” as he called President Biden numerous times during his podcasts.

On the other hand, aside from a couple of extremely subtle hints from Trump himself, there’s no real confirmation as to whether he will be running for office in 2024.

Although considering the advantage the Republicans already have for this year’s midterms, it’d likely be a hop, skip, and a jump to a victory.

Rogan supports Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis

After the faintest amount of criticism for Trump, Rogan quickly segued into mocking Biden for his press conference gaffes, referring to the time when he was seen “shaking hands” with open space back in April.

This was during Biden’s visit to Greensboro, NC.

With this, Rogan showed he’s not aligned with either party; although it’s very clear he’s not particularly fond of the current administration. Given everything we’ve seen them do in the past year and a half, who can blame him?

Rogan pointed out that if any Republican did as much rambling as Joe does on the daily, every left-leaning talk show would be calling for them to be taken off the air.

Although he labels himself as nonpartisan, Rogan did express support for Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis, claiming he would make an excellent president if he chose to run for office in the 2024 presidential race.

He applauded DeSantis’ commitment to his state, saying what he’s done for Florida is greatly admirable, possibly referring to this year’s Parental Rights in Education bill that banned LGBTQ topics from elementary school classrooms.

It remains unclear how serious Rogan was about not wanting to host Trump; his opinion could easily change with a well-timed victory for MAGA in the 2024 election.
