WaPo: Democrats Will LOSE 2022 Midterm Elections

Even liberal media networks, like the Washington Post, claim Democrats will lose the 2022 midterm elections.

However, the media outlet made an unusual prediction that losing the forthcoming elections will be good for the Democrat Party.

Losing 2022 is Good for Biden

Liberal journalist Matt Bai wrote a column in the Washington Post, mentioning Democrats would be defeated in both the House and the Senate in November. Though this can help the party retain the presidency in the 2024 elections, Bai noted.

While stating not every poll about the midterm elections can be wrong, Bai claimed Democrats are moving towards a “world of hurt” in November.

Another columnist of the same media network, Jen Rubin, alarmed earlier in the year that Democrats should “deeply” worry about their likelihood of any win in the upcoming elections.

Similarly, Chuck Todd of another liberal media channel, MSNBC, asserted Democrats are currently residing in “shellacking” territory these days.

The only positive news for Democrats out of this probable loss, according to Bai, is they will stand a chance in the 2024 presidential race, which was also seeming difficult for the party.

Illogical Blame of the Republican Party

Bai asserted the Republican Party will become “crazy” after winning Congress in the 2022 elections and Biden will be able to campaign on this craziness in 2024.

The liberal journalist claimed the current Republican Party is filled with “conspiracists and authoritarians” who will give Biden many campaigning points in the next presidential election, should they win Congress this time.

In its current form, the GOP does not represent the “conservative revolutionaries of 1994,” Bai added.

While justifying his content, the leftist journalist quoted the example of Bill Clinton’s reelection; he won the 1996 race after Republicans swept Congress in the 1994 midterm elections.

In his campaign for reelection, Bai continued, Clinton accused the Republican Party of putting economic roadblocks in his way, which helped him snatch the victory in the race.

Furthermore, Bai also established that Obama won the 2012 presidential elections by campaigning against Republicans’ “radicalism” once the GOP won the House in the 2010 elections.

According to the liberal journalist, the far-left faction of the Democrat Party is now a “liability” to Biden; the president made continuous efforts to make the “cringy-sounding squad” happy even after their baseless demands.

One of the reasons for the failure of radical leftists in America is the overwhelming opposition this group attracts from all over the country.

He added Democrats have the wrong priorities, as the party is focusing on defunding the police and forgiving student loans, even though Americans wanted them to deal with rising inflation and crime.

Bai insisted Biden would have an opportunity in the aftermath of the elections to present himself as an Abraham Lincoln, amid all the opposition from the Republican Party.
