Elon Musk Calls For Trump to Quietly Go Away

Tension between Tesla founder Elon Musk and former President Trump is on the rise.

After Musk shut down his $44 billion merger agreement to acquire Twitter, Trump weighed in on the situation. The former president claimed he never believed Musk would actually follow through with buying the site.

Later, Trump claimed Musk to be a “BS artist” for allegedly telling Trump he voted for him, followed by Musk later claiming he hadn’t voted for a Republican until very lately.

As it turns out, Musk is now fighting back with words of his own. On Monday, the Telsa founder called for Trump to essentially go away as quietly as possible, per Washington Examiner.

Pushing Back Against Trump

On Twitter, Musk responded to a video shared of Trump referring to him as a “BS artist.”

According to the Tesla founder, he doesn’t bear any personal animosity toward Trump. However, it is Musk’s view that Trump should pack it in and drift off into the sunset.

Musk also said that Democrats should back off on launching their own attacks against the former president. This will prevent a scenario where Trump’s only shot of survival stands at going for the 2024 presidential election, per Musk.

On Twitter, Musk’s call for Trump to hang his hat up was challenged by presumably one of the former president’s supporters.

When the Tesla founder was presented with a list of Trump’s accomplishments in office, he conceded these accomplishments were valid.

However, Musk then said that having a bull in a China shop on a daily basis isn’t good. Finally, the Tesla founder also stated Trump is too old to run for office again and that an overabundance of drama lingered during his tenure.

Response From Trump?

The former president is rarely known to back down from criticism. In light of this, Americans shouldn’t be shocked if Trump fires back at Musk with some new thoughts of his own.

Lately, Trump’s been putting out many of his statements via press releases, rallies, or Truth Social.

All things considered, the latest war of words between the former president and founder of Tesla could be potentially just getting started.

Musk has previously shown support for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis making a run for the White House in 2024. Trump is widely expected to seek the presidency again; although, DeSantis has yet to confirm any plans for a presidential campaign in 2024.

Despite Musk’s brewing feud with Trump, he’s also coincidentally taken shots at Biden as well.

What do you think of the escalating war of words between Elon Musk and Donald Trump? Do you believe a feud between the pair is winding down or just beginning? In the comments area, you can let us know.
