During a discussion with Sweden’s Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson in Kyiv, Zelensky stated Ukraine is cooperating with the UN and Turkey to prevent “civilized countries” from importing its grain that has been unlawfully exported by Russia.
According to Zelensky, unclogging grain imports from Ukraine is challenging, yet doable, and he thinks the UN is prepared to take the lead in making it happen.
He stated all ships must have security assurances, with the exception of those from Russia, whom Ukraine does not trust.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine anticipates harvesting 60 million metric tonnes of grain this fall, but Russia already banned 22 million tonnes from entering its ports.
He declared, “We need to sell all the grain”
During the discussion, Sweden’s Andersson stated the best approach to end Russia’s war is to raise assistance for Ukraine and put sanctions on the country.
Last week, Russia filled key positions in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of eastern Ukraine, which Moscow supports as a separatist state.

Russian crude supply to significant Asian markets is in trouble. In the seven days leading up to July 1st, Russia’s maritime crude exports recovered from the prior week’s decline.
However, exports to Asia are declining, despite flows being transferred to the country’s Black Sea port to shorten the journey to India.
Despite a brief pause in exports from the Baltic port of Primorsk, overall crude flows through Russian ports increased week over week by 23%. This represents a recovery of the majority of quantity lost over the past seven days.
